PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy is intended to provide users who visit the website owned by the Company (www.vetrocare.it; hereinafter, the “Website”) with information regarding its management, particularly with reference to the collection, recording, and use of personal data that may be legitimately carried out by the Company through the Website.
Such activities and any other operation regarding personal data that may be considered as “processing” under Art. 4, no. 2) of the Regulation will be carried out by the Company in compliance with the provisions of the Regulation and applicable Italian legislation.
This privacy policy is also provided pursuant to Art. 13 of the Regulation and is valid exclusively for the Website, and not for any other websites that the user may consult via links present on the Website.
DATA CONTROLLER
The Website is controlled and managed by Vetrocare S.r.l., with registered office in Via Circonvallazione Est, 2/6 – 27023 Cassolnovo (PV), which qualifies as the Data Controller pursuant to and for the purposes of Art. 4, no. 7) of the Regulation.
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Browsing data
During their normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Website acquire some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
Such personal data is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes, for example, IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Website, as well as other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are used exclusively to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check its proper functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data may also be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical cybercrimes against the Website: apart from this eventuality, web contact data does not persist for more than seven days.
Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on the Website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address, which is necessary in order to respond to the requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Marketing data
With the user’s explicit consent, provided by checking a box in the “Contact” section of the Website, commercial communications may be sent to the email address provided.
Consent for marketing purposes may be revoked at any time by sending an email to: vetrocare@legalmail.it
PURPOSE AND METHOD OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA, DATA RETENTION PERIOD
The data collected through the Website will be processed solely to provide users with the information and/or services requested and, with regard only to browsing data, to ensure the proper and effective operation of the Website.
The Company may also process the personal data provided by users to pursue its own or third parties’ “legitimate interests”, for example, to handle disputes, complaints, or legal matters, as well as to protect its IT systems and comply with applicable legal obligations.
The legal basis for such processing, pursuant to the Regulation, is the performance of the service expressly requested by users (e.g., information requests, etc.).
The personal data provided by users will always be processed in compliance with Article 5 of the Regulation and applicable Italian law, both manually and electronically, and in accordance with data security standards established by the Regulation and Italian legislation.
Personal data may be disclosed to parties acting as data processors (Art. 28 of the Regulation) and/or persons authorized to process the data under the authority of the Controller (Art. 29 of the Regulation), for the above-mentioned purposes.
The Company has adopted specific security measures to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access.
Personal data will be retained by the Company for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and, thereafter, for the duration required by applicable laws.
PROVISION OF DATA
Providing data is optional, except for what has been specified regarding browsing data. Failure to provide the personal data necessary to deliver the requested information and/or services will prevent the Company from fulfilling such requests.
PROFILING AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
No automated decision-making processes, including profiling, are used in the processing of personal data.

Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), pursuant to Art. 77 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016, if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates applicable law.
